Maybe, but cars tend to start off like around $500 dollars then jump up to a few grand. Good luck

maybe it depends on if they have any cars that are really old and need alot of work on. i would take 200 dollars just in case but i do know they have cars that cheap over at car auctions.

My uncle bought a perfect ’99 Dodge Ram 3/4 ton pickup for $2,800 at an auction. If you can get that for a truck, I bet you could find a decent, drivable car for what you have. If not, you’ll find out, and gather some more $$, and go back next time.

That is according to what you are looking for.
I have been to a couple of them and the question is how many people will want the same car that you want .
Now, here is a big tip, If you have a chance too view the cars
like a day before the auction or just before the auction, take a pen and paper with you and then if you see some cars you like then wright the auction number and info down off the windshield for each car you want to bid on.
that will help you out a lot,but you can still watch the other cars to ,they may not go as high as you think they will.
OH, It is according to how many used car dealers shows to.
If you get to view them ahead of time you can keep a eye out
to see what cars the others are interested in.
If I was you I think I would try to get a little more money up too take with you.
the more cars they have there, the more chances you will get one. I hope I was some help……… b.Jerry30

That should be enough money to get a decent car from a car auction. Be sure to watch out for things like taxes and auction fees that will have you ending up paying more than what you bid for.
I got my first car at a car auction for around $2,800. It was pretty cool… all it needed was a new alternator. Depending on what car auction you go to you can get a really good deal or get ripped off. So remember what you’re looking for.

It’s enough, do you know anyone in the car business? Salesman, dealer, friend with a lot, that amount will easily get a car at a dealers auction. A public auction is kinda’ like a girls gone wild video, everyone has a book and thinks they are going to wait to make that KILLER deal but end up running the price up on each other. Don’t take my word for it go to a couple and watch, it is a learning experience.
