I know this is a funny question but any of you know someone or the procedure to go to a car auction. I am looking at the idea of a car auction to purchase for cash, Tucson, AZ area.

Create a video blog...instantly.

How much do you guys think a 2003 wrx manual with 40,000 miles on it would go for at a CAR AUCTION?

Your question is kinda hard to understand. If you’re asking how you can purchase a car at a car auction then you have to be considered a car dealer. You need certain licenses and certificates for that. You have to pay for them and it’s quite expensive… I think thousands of dollars… not, like, 20 or 30 dollars. It’s a serious thing. Sorry. Hope this helps.

It’s not funny. It is actually pretty simple. You go ahead of the actual start of the auction and register as a bidder. You will need to prove you have the ability to pay for your purchase. This is done with either a letter from your bank or a credit card on file. Go early enough to view the vehicles you are interested in. If you are not “car savvy” take someone who is. The cars are sold as-is so make sure it is in decent condition relative to what you pay. Also, if possible check the book value ahead of the actual auction. Many people get caught up in a bidding frenzy and pay too much.
